One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has urged her supporters to buy "non-halal" Easter eggs, in a festive video complete with props.

The controversial senator shared a video of herself spruiking Lindt and Darrell Lea chocolates on Facebook today.

"We see these products out there that are halal-certified, Cadbury's chocolate for instance," Ms Hanson says, before holding up a Lindt bunny and beginning to stroll through a paddock.

"If you want to get product that's not halal-certified, I'd suggest Lindt, that's not halal-certified, and another great one is Darrell Lea," she says.

The camera then pans to a Darrell Lea egg balanced on a fence post, as Ms Hanson urges her followers to buy the products from grocery shops and newsagents.

"Go and buy some non-halal Easter eggs and chocolate, and have a happy Easter everyone," she concludes.

The video began with an update about a Senate inquiry into food certification, but Ms Hanson quickly turned her attention to chocolate.

Ms Hanson's message is in line with her party's stance that buying halal-certified products equates to "financially supporting the Islamisation of Australia".
