Patients warned against office surgeries

Plastic surgeons are warning patients against going under the knife in doctors' offices amid a lack of regulation in the industry.
The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons says there are currently no regulations around office-based surgeries, posing an unacceptable risk to patient safety.
It's made a submission to the Medical Board of Australia calling for national regulations of office-based cosmetic surgery and enforceable guidelines around their use of anaesthetics.
