Storms lash parts of Queensland as heatwave comes to an end
Storms have hit parts of south-east Queensland after temperatures soared across the state.
The cells rolled across parts of Logan and Ipswich, producing heavy rain and strong winds.
A short burst of torrential rain fell at Springfield Lakes, in Ipswich.

Dozens of residents there are still repairing their properties after hail from Saturday's supercell storm smashed holes in roofs.
Maximum temperatures in Queensland were 5-8C above the average, with Ipswich reaching 35C and Mt Isa topping out at 40C.
The sweltering conditions combined with gusty winds to produce dangerous fire conditions.

A Watch and Act Warning is still in place for Mareeba, in the state's far north, due to a large bushfire burning near the town.
Residents are being urged to be ready to follow their bushfire survival plans.
The warm temperatures are set to persist in parts of North Queensland, but conditions are expected to ease in the south-east over the coming days.
"Temps by Sunday could be anywhere up to 11 degrees cooler than what we're seeing today," Senior Forecaster Felin Hanniffy said.
"It could be 2-4C below average for November as we a southerly."
