Pantless man involved in indecent assault

A man wearing no pants, but dressed in a green hat with a net covering his face, has indecently assaulted a woman in Adelaide.

The woman was walking on Lucretia Way at Hallett Cover on Thursday at 6.15pm when a man wearing no pants walked up to her, police say.

He grabbed a piece of clothing she was carrying and when she asked for its return, he waved it at her.

The woman walked away, but screamed when the man tried to grab her top.

The man, who wore a light-coloured T-shirt and may have been carrying his pants, ran off.

He was wearing a green hat with a full net around it, hanging below his chin, which prevented the woman from seeing his face.

The man was described as 185cm to 190cm tall, with a healthy build, and aged up to 50 years old.

Police believe that his appearance and behaviour would have attracted the attention of witnesses.
