Pair charged over toddler shooting to apply for bail

A 28-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman charged over the shooting of a toddler with a home-made gun in January are expected to apply for bail.
Police allege the three-year-old girl sustained a serious leg injury as a result of a gunshot on January 7 at Morayfield, north of Brisbane.
The pair, charged with grievous bodily harm and unlawful possession of a weapon, appeared in Caboolture Magistrates Court yesterday where the case was adjourned.

They were remanded in custody to appear today, when they are expected to apply for bail.
