Pair charged over alleged stabbing of man in Goulburn

Two men have been charged over an alleged knifing in Goulburn, in NSW’s southern tablelands, that left a teenager with a punctured abdomen.

Paramedics were called to a Goulburn home about 9pm on Saturday after reports of a stabbing.

The 19-year-old victim was taken to Goulburn Hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.

On Sunday, police arrested a 23-year-old man. He was charged with reckless wounding and affray.

About 11am yesterday a 25-year-old man was arrested at Goulburn police station. He was charged with two counts of common assault and one count of affray.

The younger man was refused bail and faced court yesterday, he will reappear on February 3.

The 25-year-old was granted conditional bail and will face Goulburn Local Court on January 27.
