A teenage P-plate driver will face court after he was allegedly caught driving a BMW 120km/h over the speed limit in Sydney's south-west overnight.

At about 9.30pm, police on Bringelly Road, Leppington, spotted the BMW allegedly travelling 206km/h in a signposted 80km/h zone.

Officers pulled the car over and issued the 19-year-old driver with a court attendance notice for multiple offences, including exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h, reckless driving, and not displaying P-plates.
