Optus has advised users the majority of their systems are back up and running after a mass outage was reported earlier today.

The telecommunications company said they were aware of the majority of Optus customers experiencing problems with their mobile and WiFi services earlier and they were working to fix the issue.

Optus said they have now fixed 4G and 5G services, but some 3G customers may still be experiencing issues.
