One Nation senators split over super bill

The four One Nation senators have split in parliament over an amendment to superannuation laws.

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson and Queensland colleague Malcolm Roberts sided with the Greens and crossbenchers Jacqui Lambie and David Leyonhjelm on a Greens amendment which failed.

Rod Culleton (WA) and Brian Burston (NSW) voted against the amendment.

The second reading amendment, which has no legal impact on the bill, would have added a call to address "tax advantages for investors in real estate" and housing affordability.

Senator Hanson has previously said there would be times when her team would differ when it came to standing up for their respective states.
