One dead, one seriously hurt in NSW crash

A woman has been killed and a man airlifted to hospital following a two-car crash in Sydney's northwest.
The woman, believed to be aged 65, died at the scene when her hatchback and a ute collided on Wylds Road at Arcadia about 5.15pm on Thursday, police said.
She was the sole occupant of the car.

A man believed to be aged 50-60, who also was driving alone, was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
