Calls for reduction in speed limit after car, camel-carrying truck caught in deadly crash in South Australia
There are calls to lower the speed limit on a South Australian road after a man was killed and four people injured in a crash overnight.
At about 6.30pm, police were called to Victor Harbor Road in Hindmarsh Valley after a Mitsubishi station wagon and a Ford truck towing a trailer collided.
The Mitsubishi driver, a 20-year-old man from Ingle Farm in the city's north east, died at the scene.

The truck driver, a 42-year-old woman from the McLaren Vale town of Kangarilla was taken to hospital by road while her passenger, a 75-year-old woman from nearby McLaren Flat, was airlifted there.
Two young children were also in the truck and were taken to hospital.
The truck was towing three camels in the trailer. Two were euthanised but one survived.
The road reopened at about 4am this morning.
The man's death is the third life lost on SA roads in 2023 compared with zero at the same time last year.

Locals are calling for change to the current 100km/hr speed limit.
"Going up Cut Hill needs to be dropped to 80km/hr and we'll be lobbying even harder now," witness Melanie Jolley told 9News.
