Nurse's car stolen from Melbourne hospital while she was working
A nurse's car has been stolen from a Melbourne hospital while she was working, just days before Christmas.
It is believed a man stole Lucy Buzza's car key and handbag from her locker at St Vincent's Hospital in Fitzroy about 7.10pm yesterday, before he drove her car out of the staff carpark underneath the hospital about 7.20pm.
Buzza has told 3AW that she did not realise her car had been stolen until after she finished her shift about 9.30pm.

She said that after she couldn't find her keys, she contacted the hospital's security team and they told her someone had taken her car out of the carpark's boom gate about 7.20pm.
The theft was allegedly caught on the hospital's CCTV, with the man seen wearing sunglasses and a mask.
Buzza has said not having a car will make it difficult for her getting to and from her shift work.
"I don't like walking around Fitzroy late at night," she said.
Buzza explained she was working on a COVID-19 ward, so the lockers are not in the ward in the interests of infection control.
St Vincent's Acting Executive Director Dean Jones has said the hospital team is "all very upset" by the theft.
"Our nurses work so hard and so selflessly, and to have this happen on the edge of Christmas after such a busy year, it's terribly disappointing for Lucy, her colleagues, and everyone at St Vincent's," he said.
Jones said security around the hospital would be ramped up as a precaution.
Police are investigating the theft.
Anyone who sees Buzza's car, a 2019 Hyundai sedan, with registration 1SE 1AS, is urged to contact police.
