A nurse and midwife at South Australia's Lyell McEwin Hospital will work her last shift tomorrow after almost six decades on the job.

A nurse and midwife at South Australia's Lyell McEwin Hospital will work her last shift tomorrow after almost six decades on the job. 9News
Tomorrow, she will assist with one last birth before retiring after 57 years as a nurse - 53 as a midwife.
She'll spend her first day of retirement celebrating her 74th birthday, before settling into two other very important roles; mother and grandmother.
