Woman dies in central Australia car crash
AAP
A woman has been killed after she was thrown from a car that rolled in central Australia.
Police say the woman, 44, and a 45-year-old man were travelling to Finke from Kulgera community on Saturday night when their car rolled several times, throwing them both out.
"Investigations are continuing but early indications suggest speed, alcohol and the lack of seat belts may be contributing factors," Superintendent Janelle Tonkin said in a statement on Monday.

The man remains in Alice Springs Hospital.
The NT road toll is now 28, compared with 33 for the same time last year.
