Northern Territory cops have taken up the gauntlet after being snubbed by their Kiwi counterparts in an international dance-off.

New Zealand police officers filmed themselves breaking it down as part of their latest recruitment video and challenged police departments across Australia and the world to do better.

But they forgot about the NT, who responded with some seriously coordinated slow-mo angst to the 1982 hit by Aussie band Moving Pictures, What About Me.

"Hey NZ Police Recruitment, did you forget us when challenging every jurisdiction in Australia (and the world)?" they wrote on Facebook.

But it's not over yet. As the Darwin crew struts off camera, they promise there's more to come.
