Tourist airlifted after Kakadu fall

A 70-year-old tourist has been airlifted to hospital after injuring her leg at the base of Jim Jim Falls at Kakadu.
A CareFlight medical team was called in about 3.30pm on Wednesday and a doctor and nurse were winched down to treat the woman about an hour later.
The woman was in a stable condition when she and her husband were airlifted to Royal Darwin Hospital at about 6.30pm.
