The CLP government and Labor have made numerous promises to voters. Here are some of the key commitments from each side.

COUNTRY LIBERALS PARTY:

* Will create 24,000 jobs next term

* $1.645 billion program to build 240 houses a year for eight years in the Territory's remote Aboriginal communities

* $42.55 million for motorsports

* Will extend open speed limits in parts of central Australia

* $14 million per year to establish a new Community Policing Strategy with 105 extra auxiliary officers

* $15 million to open up parts of national parks to recreational hunting

* $30 million for a new Palmerston Police Station

* $9 million for Screen Territory to promote film and TV projects

* $6.83 million for $500 per student study vouchers

LABOR:

* Will impose an indefinite moratorium on fracking

* Will return the banned drinkers register
