NT teen arrested for property offences

A 15-year-old boy who stole a car, a motorcycle and a bike has been arrested and charged by Alice Springs police.
They allege the teen broke into five residences in the suburbs of Araluen and Gillen over two weeks in late June and early July, and stole a Toyota Camry, a Yamaha motorcycle, a bicycle, alcohol, an iPad mini and a baseball cap.
He was arrested on Wednesday and charged with 17 offences, including unlawful entry, stealing, trespassing, property damage, and driving without a licence, and will appear in Alice Springs Youth Justice Court on Thursday.
