Search finds missing adults and children

Five people, including two young children, missing in the Northern Territory have been found.

Fears were held for Steve Sutton who was believed to be travelling with his cousin Charles May, Mr May's partner Nikki and their two children aged two and nine months.

A search was launched on Monday after they failed to return from a day trip on Sunday to Lake Surprise in the Tanami Desert, about 250 kilometres southwest of Tennant Creek

Concerns were held for the group because of flooding to local roads.

But police said they were located on Monday afternoon about 30 kilometres from Tennant Creek where their vehicle had become bogged.
