NT man dies on Xmas night after bashing

A Northern Territory man has died on Christmas night after he was allegedly beaten by three men in a remote town near the Gulf of Carpentaria.
The 19-year-old died in Royal Darwin Hospital three days after he was allegedly assaulted by the men, aged 23, 24 and 27, in Borroloola, about 1000 kilometres east of Darwin, on Sunday.
The men were charged with serious harm and remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court on Thursday.
