NT cabbie caught doing burnouts in taxi

A Katherine taxi driver has been issued with an infringement notice after police found him doing burnouts and circle work in his taxi.

The 33-year-old was approached by Northern Territory Police on Monday night.

"When asked about his behaviour he indicated that he sometimes does silly things and he could not afford the ticket so just wanted it cancelled. I don't think so," said Duty Superintendent Louise Jorgensen.
