NT bikie charged over meth, steroids

A senior Darwin Rebels bikie has been charged after methamphetamine, steroids and ammunition were found at the club's base near Darwin.

The 22-year-old man was arrested on Monday after police found a commercial quantity of methamphetamine, as well as steroids and unsecured ammunition, at the gang's Yarrawonga clubhouse near Darwin.

He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with offences including the possession of a trafficable amount of methamphetamine and the possession of steroids.

A 21-year-old man was also charged with similar offences and will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on October 29.
