Man nabbed in Darwin over fake identities
AAP
An Australian man has allegedly changed his name every year for the last five years to get fake identity documents.
The 48-year-old, who changed his name legally, was arrested last week in Darwin after the Births, Deaths and Marriages office asked fraud police to investigate.
He will appear in the Darwin Local Court on Monday charged with eight counts of criminal deception and six counts of making a false declaration.
