Man dies in NT house fire

A man has died in a house fire at Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory.

When emergency crews arrived at the Ambrose Street property on Tuesday they found the back room well alight.

After bringing the blaze under control the body of a man was found inside.

Fire investigators will travel from Darwin to Tennant Creek to establish the cause but the fire is not considered suspicious.
