Man charged over Xmas Eve NT death

A man has been arrested and charged over the death of another man near Darwin on Christmas Eve.
Police were called to a home in Humpty Doo at 9pm on Monday after reports of an assault.
They found a 68-year-old man dead at the scene and arrested a 48-year-old man.

The man was charged with manslaughter and has been remanded in custody until December 27.
