Man assaults police, paramedic in the NT

A man has allegedly assaulted a police officer and a paramedic who went to his aid after he collapsed in a Northern Territory shopping centre.
The 30-year-old was found unconscious inside the centre in Katherine on Friday and attacked his helpers after they woke him, police say.
The man will appear in court on Monday charged with assaulting police and assaulting a worker.
