Man arrested over NT taxi knife assault

A Darwin man who allegedly threatened a taxi driver with a knife has been arrested.
Northern Territory Police say a man approached a taxi driver in Palmerston just before midnight on Wednesday then produced a knife and demanded money.
He wrestled with the driver and fled empty-handed.

The driver suffered minor injuries to his arm and was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital.
Police arrested a 19-year-old man on Thursday and say he will remain in custody while they continue their inquiries.
