Hiker collapses at Katherine Gorge

A dehydrated man who collapsed on a hiking trail at Katherine Gorge in the Northern Territory has been airlifted to hospital in Darwin.
The man was walking in Nitmiluk National Park about 350km south-east of Darwin with a group on Wednesday afternoon when he became dehydrated and collapsed, CareFlight said.
The man is in a stable condition and was being treated while en route via helicopter to Royal Darwin Hospital on Wednesday evening.
