Greg Hunt sheds tear after NT Chief Minister's family flees home from anti-vax threats
Federal Minister for Health Greg Hunt became visibly upset when he was asked about Northern Territory Chief Minister Michael Gunner's wife and son having to flee their home over the weekend, because of anti-vaccine protest action.
"Let me condemn, clearly, absolutely, unequivocally, the attack on Michael Gunner's house," he said.
During a rally in Darwin on Saturday, hundreds gathered to protest the government's plans to mandate vaccination for high-risk, public-facing employees and essential workers.

Demonstrators yelled out Mr Gunner's home address and threatened to attack him.
The threat rattled Mr Gunner.
Mr Hunt went on to explain how "the lives of my children were threatened quite openly some years ago".
"It was a matter of great concern," he said, with his demeanour clearly shifting. He said he had "never really talked about" the incident in public before.

Mr Hunt said Australia needed to relearn the mutual "value of respect" and tolerance.
"To those that think violence, or the threat of violence, is acceptable in any way, shape or form, it is not," Mr Hunt said.
