Four wild horses become roadkill in NT

Four wild horses have been killed after wandering onto an outback road in the Northern Territory overnight.

Police say three stray horses died instantly and another had to be put down after they were struck by a car on Cox Peninsula Road in Berry Springs around midnight on Sunday.

The driver was uninjured and police say no alcohol was involved in the accident.
