Four men arrested in Darwin drugs raid
Northern Territory police have raided two homes, seized a gun, car, drugs and cash, and arrested four men after receiving a tip-off that the men were dealing drugs from a shopping centre in Darwin's northern suburbs.
They searched two men, aged 19 and 23, finding $12,400 cash and almost half a kilo of cannabis, and seized an iPhone and car. They then raided two Humpty Doo properties, arresting an 18-year-old man and issuing a 22-year-old man with a notice to appear. In total, police netted $35,650 in cash, almost one kilo of cannabis, seven MDMA tablets, a .22-calibre rifle, a car, a phone, and gold jewellery worth about $13,000.
The men aged 18, 19 and 23 were charged with drug and property offences and were bailed to appear at the Darwin Magistrate's Court on July 8.
