Eleven charged after NT crime spree

Eleven people, including children, have been charged over a spate of break-ins in a Northern Territory community.
Offenders broke into nine premises, some more than once, in a crime spree in Wurrumiyanga on Bathurst Island between December 29 and January 15, NT police said.
Eleven people aged between 11 and 21 have been charged with a range of offences including stealing, unlawful entry to a building or dwelling, damage to property, receiving stolen property and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The investigation is continuing.
Some of those charged will appear in court at a later date, while others have been sent to youth diversion.
