Darwin man provides very Australian commentary while watching huge truck blaze

A Darwin concreter has provided colourful commentary while filming a truck that was engulfed in a fireball.

Trent Hunt was passing by an industrial lot in the suburb of Pinelands when he saw dense black smoke billowing into the sky.

As soon as he started recording, he captured a loud explosion and that sparked an expletive-laden reaction.

"F---! F------ hell. Gas bottles in the c---!"

"S--- there's f------ coppers, firies, c---- going wild!"

Staff from neighbouring businesses tried to douse the blaze, before fire crews arrived to complete the job.

Initial investigations into the fire suggest a mechanical fault was the likely cause.
