Darwin pair charged with sexual assault

Two Darwin men will appear in court accused of sexually assaulting a woman.

Police say the pair, aged 18 and 33, assaulted the 43-year-old in Nightcliff before she fled and flagged down passing cars in the early hours of March 22.

They were later arrested and remanded in custody after being charged with sexual intercourse without consent and gross indecency.

The 18-year-old is due in Darwin Magistrates Court on Monday and the older man will face court on Tuesday.
