Alleged NT drug-driver caught with meth

An alleged drug-driver has been caught with methamphetamine worth about $43,000 near Alice Springs.

The 23-year-old man was arrested after methamphetamine and a small about of cannabis was found in his car south of Alice Springs during a police search on Wednesday afternoon.

He will appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with offences including driving under the influence of drugs, possessing and supplying methamphetamine and possessing cannabis.
