Alice Springs prison escapee recaptured

A convicted thief who escaped from low-security cottages at the Alice Springs prison has been recaptured.
Nigel Miama, 24, who is serving a five-month sentence for stealing and bail offences, left the cottages on Saturday night, News Corp Australia reports.
"Police would like to thank the concerned members of the community and the people who assisted Police in locating him," NT Police posted on Facebook on Monday.
