Xie jury continues deliberations

Jurors in the trial of the Sydney man accused of the Lin family murders, Robert Xie, will be forced to stay in a hotel if they don't reach a verdict on Monday.

The 12 members of the NSW Supreme Court jury were last week told by Justice Elizabeth Fullerton that if they are still deliberating by the close of business on Monday, they will be made to stay in a hotel until they reach a verdict.

Xie has pleaded not guilty to murdering five members of his wife Kathy Lin's family, whose bloodied bodies were discovered in their North Epping home in Sydney's northwest on July 18, 2009.
