Worker seriously burnt in Sydney explosion

Two workers have been burnt after an explosion at an electricity substation in Sydney's southwest.

One worker has serious burns to his face, chest and hands and another has been treated for minor burns following an explosion at Airds, near Campbelltown just after 11am on Monday.

The injured worker has been taken to hospital, an ambulance spokesman said.
