AAP
An elderly volunteer has been rescued from a hospital information booth in Sydney's south after a car ploughed into it.
The woman, believed to be in her 70s, was trapped in the booth at St George Hospital at Kogarah for about an hour on Tuesday morning.
A car, carrying two people, crashed into the booth around 11am and firefighters worked to free the elderly woman by midday.
