Man seriously injured after horse accident

A man has been seriously injured after being thrown from a horse in the NSW Hunter Valley.
The Westpac rescue helicopter was sent to a private Dungog property after the 31-year-old was hurt on Sunday afternoon.
The man suffered head injuries and a broken leg and has been airlifted to Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital.
