Woman's body found in Sydney river

A woman's body has been found in Sydney's Parramatta River.

The body, believed to be a woman aged in her 70s, was located by police just after 2pm on Sunday near Queen's Wharf Reserve in Parramatta.

The woman is yet to be identified, according to police, who are preparing a report for the coroner.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
