US woman allegedly busted with cocaine stashed in heel at Sydney airport

An American woman who allegedly tried to smuggle two kilograms of cocaine into Australia in her suitcase has been refused bail in a Sydney court.
Denise Woodrum, 50, was nabbed at Sydney Airport after arriving on a flight from Los Angeles on Friday.

Australian Border Force officers allegedly found cocaine hidden in clothing and make-up products in her suitcase and charged her with importing a commercial quantity of the drug.
Woodrum did not apply for bail and it was formally refused at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday by magistrate Annette Sinclair.
She's due to face Central Local Court in September.
