Woman killed in head-on NSW crash

A woman has died after being trapped in her overturned car following a head-on collision with a truck in west NSW.

Police say the 28-year-old's car was left trapped under the truck after the crash at Balladoran, north of Dubbo, on Tuesday afternoon.

After being extricated, the woman was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition but later died.

The truck's driver, a 54-year-old man, was not injured during the incident and was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
