Man arrested after 'cutting partner's hair, holding kids against their will'

A woman, a toddler and a baby have allegedly been held against their will in a home in another domestic violence incident in NSW.

Police said the 30-year-old woman's partner threatened her over two days, hit her and cut her hair.

The woman escaped the unit in Cabramatta, in Sydney's west, with the children, aged 3 and 11 months, yesterday and went to police.

The man was arrested on Saturday afternoon and charged with three offences. Police also seized two knives after searching the unit.

The man was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
