Woman dies in Sydney Boxing Day bus crash

A woman has died in a head-on collision with a bus in Sydney's west on Boxing Day.

The woman, aged in her 50s, died at the scene after her car crashed into a bus in Cecil Hills on Wednesday afternoon, police say.

The driver of the bus suffered a minor hand injury and was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.

The bus had no passengers aboard at the time of the crash.

Meanwhile police are also investigating a deadly crash in northern NSW.

A 52-year-old man was ejected from his car when it crashed into a fence and overturned about 8.30pm on Christmas Day in Tabulam, police say.
