Woman charged with Sydney stabbing murder

A 43-year-old woman has been charged with murder over the stabbing death of a man in western Sydney last month.

The 53-year-old man, Filipino national Rhonie Apostol, was found with stab wounds to the chest at a South Wentworthville home on November 17.

He died at the scene and police say they seized a knife.

The woman, a Filipina, was arrested on Wednesday at a unit in Leumeah and taken to Campbelltown police station.

She has been charged with murder and refused bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday.
