Woman charged after allegedly slapping 90-year-old man in his nursing home bed

A Sydney woman has been charged after a 90-year-old man was allegedly slapped as he lay in his nursing home bed.

Police were told the man was slapped by an employee at the home on Meredith Street in Strathfield, western Sydney, on the evening of July 17.

A 59-year-old woman from Yennora was arrested and charged with assault on Wednesday.

She was granted conditional bail to appear in Burwood Local Court on August 12.
