Second person charged over NSW murder
A second person has been charged over the fatal stabbing of a man who was found by a road on the NSW mid-north coast.
A woman allegedly stabbed the man in the chest when they met near King Creek on Friday morning.
Police say the 43-year-old then fled in his car.
He was found by a passing motorist a few hours later on the Oxley Highway at nearby Wauchope, and died on the way to hospital.
Police raided a home in Port Macquarie on Friday. They arrested the woman, 38, and charged her with murder.
They also raided a home in Pappinbarra and discovered a knife and about 50 cannabis plants.
A 43-year-old man was arrested in Port Macquarie on Saturday and charged with accessory after the fact to murder and cultivating cannabis.
He will appear in Port Macquarie Local Court on Sunday.
