Teenage girl assaulted on Sydney train

A teenage girl has been indecently assaulted after boarding a train in Sydney's southwest.

Police say a man approached the girl and committing an act of indecency in front of her when she got on the train at Macquarie Fields on Thursday afternoon.

Then as she tried to get off the train he allegedly indecently assaulted her.

The man was arrested at a Minto home and later charged. He was granted conditional bail to face court next month.
