Western Sydney cleaner fights off thieves
AAP
A cleaner in western Sydney has fought off a pair of knife-wielding would-be robbers.
The 26-year-old man was working at a Woodcroft childcare centre on Monday night and went outside to his car when two men threatened him, demanding his mobile phone.
He refused but suffered cuts to his chest, arms and neck in a struggle with the pair before they ran off. He's been treated at Blacktown Hospital.
